Harfex ("we", "us", "our") operates harfex.com, a free online platform of text transformation tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We are committed to transparency and to handling any data responsibly.

By using Harfex, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the platform.

We do not collect personal information to use our tools. No account, name, email, or payment information is ever required.

We may collect the following limited, non-personal data:

• •Usage analytics: Page views, tool usage frequency, browser type, operating system, and general geographic region (country level only). This data is aggregated and anonymised — it cannot identify you individually.

• •Log data: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard web server logs including IP addresses, request timestamps, and URLs accessed. These logs are retained for a short period for security and operational purposes only.

We do not collect, store, or log the text you enter into any Harfex tool. Text processing happens in your browser; it is never transmitted to our servers.

Harfex offers three AI-powered tools (AI Text Style Generator, AI Tone Changer, and Create Your Translator). When you use these tools:

• •Your input text is sent to the Anthropic API to generate a response.
• •The text is processed according to Anthropic's Privacy Policy (anthropic.com/privacy).
• •We do not store AI tool inputs or outputs on our servers.
• •We do not use your AI tool inputs to train any model.

We recommend you do not enter sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information into AI tools.

We use a minimal set of cookies:

• •Essential cookies: Required for basic site functionality (e.g., security tokens). These cannot be disabled.

• •Analytics cookies: We may use anonymised analytics services (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or Google Analytics) to understand aggregate usage patterns. These services collect data in aggregate only and do not track individuals across the web.

• •Advertising cookies: If advertisements are displayed on Harfex, third-party ad networks may set their own cookies for ad delivery and measurement. These are governed by the respective network's privacy policy.

You can manage or disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling analytics or advertising cookies does not affect your ability to use Harfex tools.

Harfex uses the following third-party services that may process limited data:

• •Cloudflare (cloudflare.com): Provides our global CDN, security, and hosting infrastructure. Cloudflare processes request metadata according to its Privacy Policy.

• •Anthropic (anthropic.com): Processes text inputs for our AI tools. See Section 3.

• •Google Analytics (optional): If enabled, collects anonymised page-view data. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for commercial purposes.

Harfex is used globally. Our infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare's global network, with data centres located in multiple regions including the United States and European Union.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with specific data protection laws, you have the right to:

• •Access any personal data we hold about you.
• •Request correction or deletion of your data.
• •Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• •Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Harfex is designed for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take immediate action to delete it.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted between your browser and Harfex is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS). Our infrastructure is protected by Cloudflare's enterprise-grade security.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Harfex after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
